“I love our Winter weddings for those fairy floss sunsets and sunny, crisp days!”
If you were to get married at Summergrove, which menu style would you choose?
“I love the feasting menu because it creates a super social and interactive dining experience that I think everybody always enjoys.”
What is your go to welcome cocktail recommendation?
“Aperol Spirits or Margarita, party vibes straight away!”
What is the most memorable chapel entrance/aisle song you’ve ever seen?
“Michael Vos singing any live song for the ceremony entrance – his voice is perfection and always gives me chills.”
Which Summergrove canape item could you eat an entire bowl of?
“I am obsessed with our Mushroom arancini balls, they are so perfectly cheesy and savoury”
What wedding day moment gets you a little teary?
“First look with Dad is always so special and sweet.”
Tablecloths or no tablecloths?
“I think tablecloths give a really fresh look to the room and makes it feel really formal! It also allows your other styling to stay nice and simple.”
Is there a bridal party entrance song that you can’t help but dance along too?
“I really love the remixed version of dancing in the moonlight, it’s perfect for all ages and is timeless and fun!”
How long is the ideal photo tour time at Summergrove?
“I’d say 45mins -1hr is great, no need to rush but also not to drag that time out too much.”
What is your biggest piece of advice for our Summergrove brides?
“Relax and have trust in your wedding coordinator, we’ve got your back. Also, take a little time on the day to have a moment with your new Husband!”

What is your favourite wedding season at Summergrove and why?
“Winter. The Gold Coast and Tweed hinterlands have the best winters that are perfect for weddings. It’s not too hot, not too cold, with clear skies and cotton candy sunsets overlooking the ocean.”
If you were to get married at Summergrove, which menu style would you choose?
“Feasting is my preferred way to celebrate. It’s a casual, family vibe, but intimate at the same time. For me, I enjoy that it’s not as formal, allowing guests to relax and share all the flavours of our food.”
What is your go-to welcome cocktail recommendation?
“In December and January, hands down, it’s a Mojito—perfect for those hot days in a suit. For the rest of the year, it’s a Caipiroska.”
What is the most memorable chapel entrance/aisle song you’ve ever seen?
“A guitar acoustic cover of Van Morrison’s Moondance.”
Which Summergrove canape item could you eat an entire bowl of?
“I’m torn between the Mushroom Arancini with a liberal dipping of Aioli and the Crispy Pork Bites in sticky sauce.”
What wedding day moment gets you a little teary?
“The dads when they get to see their daughters for the first time in their dresses. This is always a really special and private moment that they’ll both remember forever.”
Tablecloths or no tablecloths?
“I really enjoy seeing our barn set up with autumn tones and bold floral arrangements, for this look, I prefer using our roomy timber tables without tablecloths.”
Is there a bridal party entrance song that you can’t help but dance along to? “It’s got to be “Get Low”—wildly inappropriate but irresistibly fun.”
How long is the ideal photo tour time at Summergrove?
“Between 30 to 45 minutes. We are lucky enough to have all the hidden photo locations close by, and with the bus to shuttle you around, you’ll be back celebrating with your guests in no time.”
What is your biggest piece of advice for our Summergrove brides?
“I have two pieces of advice: First, have fun and enjoy your day—all the hard work has been done. Second, after your big day is done and the honeymoon is over, keep dating each other until you’re 99.”

“I love Winter weddings. It is so beautiful and clear up here for your photos and you also get the most amazing cotton candy sunsets!”

“Definitely the feasting style menu, I love the idea of everyone being able to share and try all the amazing flavours.”
What is your go to welcome cocktail recommendation?
“I love the Ink Gin cocktail, it’s so pretty and a classic that everybody enjoys.”
Which Summergrove canape item could you eat an entire bowl of?
“The spicy pulled beef brisket slider with crunchy slaw and chipotle mayo. It’s just the perfect slider!”
What wedding day moment gets you a little teary?
“I think the first looks with the parents is always super special and feels so intimate.”
Tablecloths or no tablecloths?
“I love the look of our tablecloths when paired with pretty pastel-coloured flowers, it makes the colours pop! If it’s just greenery, I think that looks better on the natural timber tables.”
Is there a bridal party entrance song that you can’t help but dance along too?
“Saving up by Dom Dolla is a vibe every single time, everybody always gets so excited!”
How long is the ideal photo tour time at Summergrove?
“I think 45 minutes is perfect, 15-20 minutes with your bridal party and then 20-30 minutes for private portraits. Then you can go back and enjoy time with your guests.”
What is your biggest piece of advice for our Summergrove brides?
“This might sound silly but check your junk mail! We try to send a lot of helpful emails throughout your planning process and have found they somehow make their way to the junk box. We would hate for you to miss any of these tools or experiences.”

“Early Winter, particularly the end of May/ early June. It is just the perfect temperature as it’s not too cold and no one is sweating in their suits. Also, the golden hour and sunsets are just unbeatable and work perfectly with your runsheet!”
If you were to get married at Summergrove, which menu style would you choose?
“Definitely Feasting! It is such a great option for your guests as they get to choose what they would like to eat and try a big variety of our menu.”

“I love the Caprioska, it’s simple and fresh and always a crowd pleaser.”
What is the most memorable chapel entrance/aisle song you’ve ever seen?
“I’ve only heard it used once, and it’s always stuck with me. It was Tenerife Sea by Ed Sheeran, so unique and beautiful!”
Which Summergrove canape item could you eat an entire bowl of?
“Our wild mushroom Arancini Balls and sesame-crumbed chicken strips are my absolute favourites.”
What wedding day moment gets you a little teary?
“I really love listening to their personal vows, after working with the couples for so long, I feel so lucky to get this little insight to their lives and see how happy they are together.”

“Tablecloths with some beautiful bright florals to make the colours pop!”
Is there a bridal party entrance song that you can’t help but dance along too?
“I always recommend You & Me by Flume, it’s impossible to stand or sit still with that song on.”

“1hr to 1.5hrs – this way you do not feel stressed or rushed during one of the key parts of your day.”
What is your biggest piece of advice for our Summergrove brides?
“Enjoy every moment of the day and trust that your coordinator! We are there just for you and are completely focused on making sure nothing is forgotten and everything is under control.”

“Seated menu option 3 is my favourite, you get 1 hour of canapes and still enjoy a beautifully plated alternate drop main meal.”

“Aperol Spritz! Bringing those Italy vibes to the big day!”
What is the most memorable chapel entrance/aisle song you’ve ever seen?
“At Last – By Etta James!! I heard this sung live by an amazing musician with an awesome voice and watching the bridesmaids and bride walk down to this song gave me all the feels and still to this day I hear this song and it gives me goosebumps.”
Which Summergrove canape item could you eat an entire bowl of?
“Definitely the Thai chicken betel leaf taco herb salad with tom yum aioli, it’s so light and so full of flavour.”
What wedding day moment gets you a little teary?
“Seeing the groom’s reaction to seeing the love of his life walk down the aisle. I know this is so ‘27 dresses!’ But it is my genuine favourite and I love every chance I get to watch this moment.”

“I recommend Table runners instead with LOTS of beautiful candles! This looks amazing on our natural timber tables.”
Is there a bridal party entrance song that you can’t help but dance along too?
“All of them are so fun, but if I had to pick a favourite it would be We Found Love – Rhianna, Calvin Harris, this always gets the party started!”

“1-hour tops, get back and enjoy that special time with your guests!”
What is your biggest piece of advice for our Summergrove brides?
“I have 2 x pieces of advice that I love to give: 1. During planning, remember it is a marathon, not a sprint, make this time enjoyable and enjoy the process together.
2. On the day, don’t sweat the small stuff and make sure on the day you both schedule some time alone together to step away and soak it all in
